Loma Cottages Policies
Reservation Policy
To guarantee your stay at Loma Cottages, 50% of the fee for your stay will be charged to your credit card at time of the reservation, with the remaining 50% being charged 14 days before arrival. Guests must be 21+ to book. You will receive an email confirmation once your booking is completed. If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please email hello@stayloma.com and we will be happy to assist you. Please note deadlines below on cancellation policy. Holidays and special events may have special cancellation requirements. All rates are subject to state and local taxes and a cleaning fee. Inclement weather will not permit cancellations and refunds.
Cancellation Policy
All reservation changes and cancellations are subject to a $100 administration fee.
Full Property Buyout Reservation Policy
A full property buyout reservation of all 6 cottages is possible, with special pricing offered for full property buyout reservations of 4-nights or more. A $2,500 down payment is required to secure the reservation. The remaining payment schedule as well as our refund and cancellation policies for Full Property Buyouts are outlined below:

Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all public common areas of the property and in all guest cottages. This applies to traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. A $450.00 fee will be charged for smoking in guest cottages.
Pet Policy
Well behaved dogs are only allowed in the following designated pet-friendly accommodations on the property: Applewood and Farmhouse. [Alma, Juniper, Shade Tree and Andern are NOT pet-friendly accommodations.] Only 1 dog per reservation is permitted in a designated pet-friendly cottage. No other pets or animals are permitted on the property. There is a $50 per night non-refundable pet fee applied to a reservation to cover extra cleaning and wear and tear. Any dog must be crated if left alone in the designated pet-friendly cottage for any length of time. Dog owner is responsible for bringing a crate. If a dog is too large to crate, the owner must bring the dog with them when they leave the property. Dogs must be over the age of 1 year, fully trained and well-behaved.
If a guest brings a dog that is not on the reservation or if the pet policies are not followed, guest will be subject to a $250 fine in addition to the non-refundable pet fee. We reserve the right to charge for any mess or damage caused by the dog for the cost to repair or replace any damage plus a 5% administration fee. Please report any damage to your cottage within one hour of arrival or you will be held responsible. If pets are discovered to have been in a cottage that is not designated as pet-friendly (Alma, Juniper, Shade Tree or Andern), the guest will be charged a $750.00 fine.
When booking your dog-friendly reservation at Loma Cottages, you agree to the following rules:
If your dog is barking, aggressive, or disruptive to other guests, we reserve the right to ask you to leave without refund.
Certified Service Animals are allowed without a fee. Service Animals must still adhere to the Pet Policy; owner is responsible for any damage caused by the service animal.
Sauna Policy
A swimsuit or athletic attire is required to be always worn in the saunas. Guests must sit on a towel while in the sauna for hygienic purposes. A towel will be provided for private sauna guests. Sauna guests should never touch the sauna stoves and rocks and should always stay at least one foot back from the sauna stove pedestal. Guests are allowed to control the sauna temperature controls at their own risk. Additional rules may be posted on the sauna at the property. Guests should not enter the Sauna after consuming alcohol or other drugs. Family members of guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 or over.
Consult a doctor before utilizing the saunas if you are pregnant, elderly, or have general questions on your fitness for the Sauna.
Fire Pit Policy
Guests are responsible for starting and fully putting out a fire in the bonfire pits and/or solo stoves and are required to read and follow all instructions to ensure safe use of both fire pits and solo stoves. You will be held liable for any fire related damage to the properties assets and the surrounding Premises and not limited to the surrounding area. If you cause a forest fire you will be held liable for all damages. Please do not throw burnt logs into the woods or leave your fire unattended. Firewood, designed to be burned in a fire pit is the only allowed burning objects. Placing other objects or garbage in the fire is strictly prohibited and subject to a $250 fine.
Parking Policy
Parking for guests is available adjacent to each guest cottage. By parking a vehicle at our property, Loma Cottages does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to guest vehicles or personal property.
Noise/Quiet Hours
Please adhere to quiet hours between the hours of 9PM and 7AM. Amplified sounds or loud music are not permitted. If you have a concern, please contact us.
Guest Activities
Unless otherwise noted, the following activities are available for guests to enjoy:
· Walking Trails: open from 7AM to 9PM
· Pickleball Courts: open from 7AM to 9PM
· Saunas: open from 7AM to 9PM
· Communal Fire Pit: open from 7AM to 9PM
Damage Policy
We reserve the right to charge for any damage done to the property during a stay for the cost to repair or replace any damage plus a 5% administration fee.
Lost and Found Policy
Loma Cottages assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables, personal belongings or vehicles. If you discover that you left something behind, please contact us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.
Found Items: Loma Cottages is not responsible for any item(s) left behind by a guest. Any item, with the exception of perishable items, left behind by our guests and found after departure will be collected, recorded, and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to fourteen (14) days. A reasonable effort will be made to notify the guest that an item has been found. Perishable items, underwear, and miscellaneous toiletries left behind will be discarded.
Return: We would be happy to return your lost item(s) to you for a $30 shipping and handling fee. Loma Cottages is not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during return shipment.
Unclaimed Items/Contact: Lost & Found items are held for fourteen (14) days while we attempt to contact the guest. If we are unable to contact the guest during the fourteen (14) day holding period, the unclaimed item(s) will be donated to local organizations or disposed of accordingly by Loma Cottages.
Illegal Drugs & Activities Policy
The consumption of illegal drugs on the premises (including, for purposes hereof, the consumption of alcoholic beverages by individuals under the age of 21) is strictly prohibited and guests shall not conduct illegal activities on the premises.
Firearms Policy
Firearms and other weapons are strictly prohibited on Loma Property.
Guests who fail to abide by this policy may be asked to leave the premises without refund. Loma Cottages’ premises are private property, and our firearms policy applies to: (i) all firearms, regardless of whether the firearm is a handgun or a long-barreled gun; and (ii) all guests and visitors, even those possessing a valid license or permit to carry a firearm.
The only exception to the restrictions described in this firearms policy statement is for law enforcement officers and designated military personnel, who are on-duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties.
Fireworks Policy
The use and lighting of fireworks are strictly prohibited on Loma Property.
Party Policy
No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise nuisance are allowed or tolerated at any time in guest cottages or anywhere on the premises. In the event of a disturbance, one warning will be given to reduce the noise, if the disturbance continues, the guests will be asked to leave without refund. Registered guest(s) are responsible for all persons visiting the property.
Respect/Verbal Abuse Policy
Rudeness, racism, sexism, and other disorderly conduct to staff or other guests will not be tolerated. If this occurs you may be asked to leave the property without a refund. Please treat others with respect and kindness.
Maximum Occupancy Policy
The maximum number of guests is limited to the quantity specified in your booking for the reserved guest accommodation. Should the total number of guests exceed the maximum capacity indicated in the reservation for the guest accommodation, Loma Cottages reserves the right to ask guests who violate this policy to leave without refund.
Lock Outs
In the event a guest requests hotel management to unlock a guest cottage or other door for any reason, guest agrees to pay a service charge of $50.00 during normal business hours (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM) and $100.00 during non-business hours.
Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement
Whereas, 4291 County Road LLC, DBA Loma Cottages, located at 4291 County Road EE Fish Creek, WI (the “Premises) Sauna use, pickleball/basketball, biking, putting green, and walking trails (the “Activities), are willing to permit the guests staying on property, signing this agreement to participate in the Activities, upon the terms and conditions of this Agreement. By selecting the “I agree” box at checkout, you are providing an electronic signature and are bound by all terms and conditions stated in this document and you are releasing 4291 County Road LLC and its affiliates of liability. This agreement is valid upon selecting the “I agree” box at checkout and not reading this agreement does not nullify its content. By selecting the “I agree” box, you are signing for yourself, as well as your entire party (guests that are staying with you).
In consideration for being provided the ability to participate in the “Activities” and enter the Premises, each person herby stipulates and agrees to the following.
1. Use of Premises for the Activities. I understand and agree that I, along with the other guests in my party, may only use the Premises for the Activities set forth in this Release and Waiver of Liability agreement at the dates and times permitted by Loma Cottages, and always shall abide by the Rules and Policy’s stated.
2. Assumption of Risk. I understand and acknowledge that the Activities I want to participate in may be dangerous and may involve the risk that I will sustain serious injury, temporary or permanent disability, death, and/or property damage. I understand that the Activity may not be supervised and that Loma Cottages does not provide medical services. I further acknowledge that any injury I may sustain while participating in the Activities may be compounded by negligent or delayed medical service or negligent or delayed assistance by Loma Cottages. Injury due to acts of mother nature; wild life (bears and the like), falling limbs or downed trees causing bodily harm or death is not the responsibility of Loma Cottages and you release all liability. I VOLUNTARILY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL RISKS AND DANGERS THAT MAY OCCUR PURSUANT TO MY USE OF THE PREMISES AND PARTICIPATION IN ACTIVITIES ON THE PREMISES, INCLUDING THE RISK OF INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, EVEN IF CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OF LOMA COTTAGES OR A THIRD-PARTY.
3. Release from Liability. I hereby agree, on behalf of myself, my heirs and my personal representatives, to fully and forever discharge and release Loma Cottages and its affiliates, and their respective partners, agents, operators, managers, employees, and representatives (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims I may have or hereinafter have for any injury, temporary or permanent disability, death, damages, liabilities, expenses and/or causes of action, now known or hereinafter known in any jurisdiction in the world, attributable or relating in any manner to my entry upon and use of the Premises and participation in the Activities, whether caused by the negligence of Loma Cottages or any of the Released Parties or by any third-party or by any other reason. I acknowledge and agree that this Release and Waiver of Liability for a Potentially Dangerous Activity is intended to be, and is, a complete release, as much as allowed by law, of any responsibility of the Released Parties for all personal injuries, temporary or permanent disability, death, and/or property damage sustained by me while on or using the Premises or participating in the Activities.
4. Covenant Not to Sue. I agree, for myself and all my heirs, not to sue the Released Parties “Loma Cottages” or initiate or assist in the prosecution of any claim for damages or cause of action against the Released Parties which I or my heirs may have as a result of any personal injury, death or property damage I may sustain while on or using the Premises or while participating in the Activities.
5. Indemnification. I hereby agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Loma Cottages and the Released Parties from and against any third-party losses, damages, actions, suits, claims, judgments, settlements, awards, interest, penalties, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) and costs of any kind for any personal injury, loss of life or damage to property sustained by reason of or arising out of my use of the Premises or participation in any Activities on the Premises.
6. Medical Treatment Release. I hereby authorize Loma Cottages to secure, and I consent to, any medical treatment that may be given to me should Loma Cottages determine, in its sole discretion, that I need medical care, as a result of my being on the Premises or from participating in the Activities. I accept full responsibility for all costs related to my medical treatment, including any transport costs, and I release all parties involved from any type of liability for anything that may happen during my treatment or transport.
7. Responsibility for Personal Property and Property of Loma Cottages. I acknowledge and agree that I am fully and solely responsible for any of my property and personal belongings that I bring onto the Premises or that I use during the Activities, and that Loma Cottages will not be responsible for or provide any security for my property and personal belongings. Nor will the Company(s) be responsible for stolen property nor shipping lost or forgotten items to Guests. Guests will be responsible for the replacement, at full current value, and loss-of-use of any equipment rented under this form which is lost, stolen, damaged, or otherwise not returned to The Company(s). I agree to return all rental equipment by the agreed time and date or I shall incur a late fee.
8. No Representations by Company. I acknowledge that Loma Cottages makes no representation as to the condition of the Premises or the safety of the Activity or any equipment either on the Premises or used in the Activities. I accept and shall use the Premises, and its equipment, in its “AS IS” condition. I acknowledge and agree that I am not relying upon any representation or statement by Loma Cottages or its employees, agents, sponsors, or representatives regarding this agreement or the Premises or Activities, except to the extent such representations are expressly set forth in this agreement. Loma Cottages reserve In consideration of the services of 4291 County Road EE, DBA Loma Cottages, their agents, owners, officers, volunteers, participants, employees, lessors and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their behalf (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Loma Cottages”), I hereby agree to release and discharge Loma Cottages on behalf of myself, my children, my parents, my heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate.
9. Governing Law and Venue. This Release and Waiver of Liability agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without giving effect to the principles of conflicts of law of such state. I agree that any action arising out of this Release and Waiver of Liability agreement must be brought exclusively in any state or federal court located in Door County, Wisconsin.
10. Waiver. No waiver of any term or right in this Release and Waiver of Liability agreement shall be effective unless in writing, signed by an authorized representative of the waiving party. The failure of any party to enforce any provision of this agreement shall not be construed as a waiver or modification of such provision, or impairment of its right to enforce such provision or any other provision of this agreement thereafter.
11. Survival. Any provision of this Release and Waiver of Liability agreement providing for performance by either party after termination of this agreement shall survive such termination and shall continue to be effective and enforceable.
12. Compliance with Laws. In the performance of the terms of this Release and Waiver of Liability agreement and use of the Premises, the Parties shall comply with all applicable federal, state, regional and local laws, rules and regulations.
13. Severability. If any provision or portion of this Release and Waiver of Liability agreement shall be held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions or portions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement;
Modification; Binding Effect. This Agreement is the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes any prior agreement or communications between the parties, whether written, oral, electronic, or otherwise. No change, modification, amendment, or addition of or to this agreement shall be valid unless in writing and signed by authorized representatives of the Parties. This agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the successors, assigns, and legal representatives of the parties.
